Data We Collect

When you visit our website and accept analytics cookies, we collect the following technical data:

  • Approximate geolocation (country, region, city) derived from your IP

  • Operating system
  • Date and time of each visit

Cookies We Use

We use only two cookies, both first-party:

  • MLIP_CONSENT — Stores your consent preference for advertising and analytics cookies (Google AdSense, Google Analytics). Strictly necessary, exempt from consent. Duration: 2 years (accept) / 6 months (decline).
  • MLIP_VID — Anonymous visitor identifier (128-character random hash). Functional cookie, always set. Strictly necessary for IP history tracking. Contains no personal data. Duration: 2 years.

How We Use Your Data

Your data is used exclusively to: (1) display your current IP address and connection details, (2) maintain a personal IP change history visible only to you, and (3) generate anonymous aggregate statistics (browser distribution, top countries, daily visits). We do not build user profiles, serve targeted advertising, or perform behavioral tracking.

Data Retention

IP history records are retained for a maximum of 2 years and are automatically purged after this period. You may request early deletion at any time by contacting us.

Your Rights (GDPR)

Under GDPR, you have the right to: access your data, request rectification or deletion, restrict processing, data portability, and withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us using the information below. You may also lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.

Third-Party Services

We use geolocation databases processed locally on our servers (no data is sent externally), Leaflet/CARTO map tiles (subject to CARTO's privacy policy), Google Analytics for anonymous traffic statistics, and Google AdSense for advertising (both subject to Google's privacy policy). These Google services operate under Consent Mode v2: no tracking cookies are set until you give explicit consent via our cookie banner.
